Levon's First Cover Club Cover

Hello! My name is Levon. I used to record EBM, synthpop and darkwave as Metadrone but lately I've been focused on playing keyboard for my other bands.
For Cover Club I have covered "Hell is Living Without You" by Alice Cooper. I may have made it slightly synthy-er.

#2 - Monique's Second Cover!!

I asked the twitterverse what song I should cover next and the first response was Flock of Seagulls - Space Age Love Song by Flock of Seagulls. This is my second cover #2.

Hey William, whenever I try to do the tindeck player it never plays, not gonna do it for this one.

You need to link the MP3 not the tindeck page

#3 Veronica Hates Me by Screeching Weasel

This bad larry was recorded at the height of the recent two day heat wave. I was convinced the summer had begun, and thusly felt that the only way to conduct myself was to record some sweet pop punk covers. Screeching Weasel fills this nicely. I only know one Veronica, and I don't think that she hates me. Also, this is being posted at almost 11 on Saturday night, but by the time anyone sees it, it's bound to be a new week!

Interblog memo.

I have found a nice code to use when you want to embed MP3s as a media player All you have to do is look at a post with the player like Courtney's and then copy the code. In it, you'll see there is a part which links to an MP3. Just replace that link with your link. If you use Tindeck to host, you need the direct link to the file, not the one to the hosting page. You can get this by right clicking the "Download file" button and copying the link location. If you have any questions, you probably know how to contact me.

Hey Cover Club!

My name is Courtney I was invited to contribute by CoverClub veteran and dear friend William L. Here is a sort of dark 1982 David Bowie tribal cover of Wilco's I Am Trying To Break Your Heart that I just pulled an all-nighter for.

#1 - Monique's First Cover!

Hello everyone, my name is Monique and I am Brett's roommate. This is my cover of The Cure - Close to Me. I screw up the lyrics a bunch but I kind of like it that way. See if you can spot the Tim & Eric musical reference!

#1: Butterfly by Weezer

Here's me first contribution to the raddest club around.
Butterfly by Weezer. よろしく〜

#2: John Allyn Smith Sails By Okkervil River

New week, new song. Cover Club is still infantile, but I will not give up on it, and I have a strong feeling William is with me on that. You have but one choice here, join or perish. That's not true. But you can listen to me covering this sweet Okkervil River song. It took a while to learn and to get right. Or at least close to right.

If anyone wants to join the Cover Club and post covers of songs, please do!

#1: Tonight You Belong to Me By Billy Rose and Lee David

Cover Club is an idea William Learned and I came up with the other night. I already posted this in my status update, but I figure it'll be easier to track it as a note. I'd make videos instead but I don't have that capability. Technically, this is last weeks entry, which I guess is week one. I'll be posting week two's entry shortly. There are no real rules for cover club except for that you should record and post one cover song per week somehow. It doesn't matter who you are, what instrument you play, or how you record, video or audio. Just post it in a manner similar to this and let people know about it. It can grow, and it should.
